The owner had a ready-made business for sale that hadn’t been trading but was ready for a new owner to set up and make a go of. He no longer had the time to pursue it and didn’t know what to do with it. He didn’t think there would be any interest from a sale perspective. We had a conversation about his options and likely outcomes. He decided to see if there would be any market interest for an outright sale, but it had to happen quickly.
